How Silver Fiber Works
Silver is one of nature’s most powerful antimicrobial elements. It works by disrupting the cellular structure of bacteria, preventing them from multiplying on the fabric surface.
Our silver fiber is integrated into the microfiber yarn in our gloves and socks, and into the gusset of our underwear, ensuring targeted antibacterial protection.
Silver doesn't wash out like chemical coatings — it’s embedded into the fabric and remains effective through repeated use and laundering.
Lab-Tested for Antibacterial Performance
We don’t expect you to just believe it — our products are tested in accredited European laboratories, and the results speak for themselves.
Under EN ISO 20743, the antibacterial activity of SILVONIX™ gloves showed:
- 5.96 against Staphylococcus aureus
- 3.39 against Klebsiella pneumoniae
(An antibacterial value over 3 is considered STRONG)
This means that SILVONIX™ materials significantly reduce the presence of bacteria, contributing to improved hygiene and odor resistance.
